Cambridge, United Kingdom (2006)

The Oxford Men's Basketball team offered me and Carmel a spot on the team bus and free tickets to the big rivalry match against Cambridge. We left at 8am, but slept on the bus. We had a few hours to kill when we got there so Carmel and I walked around Cambridge.

The games were exciting and extensive. The Men's 2's (JV) team blew out Cambridge. Our women's team played a hard fought battle, but lost in the end. Finally, the main varsity match was really exciting and physical, with everyone jumping a bit higher and moving a bit faster. We won by a few points.
