Kotor, Montenegro (2007)

The next Montenegro stop was Kotor, a UNESCO site that had a lovely old town within sturdy city walls and a steep hillside fortress behind it. Montenegro is the world’s newest country (for now).

Casino Royale was set in Montenegro so we kept an eye out for James Bond. Unfortunately, Casino Royale was filmed in the Czech Republic.
