Oslo, Norway (2007)

After Bergen, we hit up Oslo for an artistic tour of the city.  First, we yelled a battle cry at the Viking Ship museum, where they had discovered a super old Viking ship.  Then, we whispered softly at a huge sculpture park called Vigelandsparken.  Finally, we screamed at the Munch Museum.

Atop the Radisson hotel, which we snuck into.

This is a burrito.  Tasted like lasagna.

This is Smorebutt.  Tasted like margarine.  Thank god.

Viking ship!

Same Viking ship.

The sea voyage must have been tough.

Strolling through the park.

Vigelandsparken!

Flower-lined paths.

Red rose infiltrates the yellow patch.

Last flower shot.

Cool action statues bordered the bridge.

Early robot.

Carmel was unable to beat these two in a race.

Angry babies.

Parents of multiple kids must know this feeling.

The tower of people.

Carmel rests at the base of the tower.

Relaxing in the sun’s rays.

Circle of people.

Next up, the Munch Museum!

One of Munch’s Scream paintings—this one was done in pastel.

A relative to Scream, this one is called Anxiety.

We stopped for a Scream Chocolate Cake.

Carmel smuggles the Scream out of the museum by eating it.

Tired of our childish ways, Oslo finally got a tiger to drag us out.
