Tokyo, Japan (2005)

Tokyo was filled with men in suits, women in short skirts and boots, and uniformed boys and girls. It was generally filled with bustling energy and good food. We craved vegetables and fruits after a few days though. Getting around was tough, even for the cab drivers with GPS units in their cars, not to mention the fact that our tour book was out of date. The trains were great with little wait, dependability, accessibility, and ease of use.

After finishing our tea and pastries, we left and began walking down the street, but the waitress came running after us in the pouring rain because we paid 2 cents too much.  We were worried that we had underpaid and we tried to give her more money.

This is where we stayed one night.  Clean, simple, and on the floor.
