2007
Road trip

We started off our first day in Prague
by hitting up a bar/restaurant.
We didn’t leave until around 4pm.

There seems to be a beer mafia in Prague
where whole streets only carry one of the big Czech beer brands. They’re all good so it’s
all good.

My favorite beer is Budvar, which is what Budweiser
US tried to copy and ended up on the crappy end of the taste/quality
spectrum.

Prost!

Some good lunch.

We went in for absinthe. This was
not to be our last absinthe drinking on the trip.

Pretty…drunk.

This communism memorial was freeaaaky at
night. Very Michael
Jackson’s Thriller.

Keep fighting!

Mia’s photo-lean.

These boots were made for walkin’.

Hanz tries to read Mia’s graffiti.

Not really sure why we stopped to take this picture.

Mia had a migraine and was so incredibly happy to find aspirin.

Aaron stands. Yeah that’s
about all I can say about this picture.

Alright we need to find us some icons!

Charles Bridge is cool.

We’re feelin’ the music.

Three wise men. And three stupid
tourists below them.

The Kaiser relaxes by the side of the bridge.

Life imitates art that imitates life.

Instant nostalgia.

Mia is happy with her icon.

It was really cold that night. My
face froze into that expression, unfortunately. But, that was years ago.

Aaron’s face also froze and he couldn’t muster up enough facial
muscles for a complete smile.

Stopping for a bit of hot wine.
And for those who couldn’t figure it out, the place also served
Czech beer.

Over yonder is something cool.
But the “Passage to Old
Town Square” was a trick. It leads into a store.

Karate Kid.

Curvy architecture.

Aha, the famous clock tower thing!

Disneyland?

Prague is flat
out cool.

Rapunzel!
Rapunzel! Text me!

Aaron and I stopped to rob the Swarovski. Aaron bought his girlfriend a fancy
crystal. I bought my girlfriend
some gas station chocolate. I
believe that both were equally appreciated.

Art from a store window.

Night palace.

We made our way through quiet, narrow streets.

Melanie takes a picture of the peeing statues. Their hips swiveled and their, um, spouts,
wiggled up and down.

We had dinner overlooking beautiful River Prague on one side, and the peeing
statues on the other.

We caught the train back to our hotel.
Did I mention it was the LSD train?

Before going to bed, we had to get to the Staropramen
club!

We passed this cool apartment on our way out of Prague.

Take us to Dresden,
Aaron!
